    Hello,

I have checked the page source of your website and the description is correctly added in the code.

You can use this tool to check: https://www.heymeta.com/

The last cache date for this page is 13 June.
    cache

If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info. If the date is after you made the changes, then you just have to wait it out and there is no further input needed from your end.

Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

Here are some of the common reasons Google might not use the meta description you provided:
The meta description is not relevant or useful (ie, just a collection of keywords).
The exact same meta description is provided across a large number of pages.
The meta description doesn’t match what the user is searching for, but other content on the page does.

There is a whole article dedicated to this on SearchEngineJournal:
    https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-offers-suggestions-for-avoiding-meta-description-rewrites/359884/

The best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

You need to check settings of rank math…
coz i don’t understand what goes wrong here
if something i need to turn off/on
    for image alt text/tags…

    Hello,

Thank you for keeping in touch with us.

If you turn on your SEO Image’s “Add missing ALT attributes” option, the image’s file name will be added to your image’s alt attribute by default. Please see this screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/nPmS52. This will only occur if your image’s alt tag is empty under the media page (or in your page builder): https://i.rankmath.com/8sTPYg

Could you please confirm if you already added the image alt tag and Rank Math is still overriding it using the image’s file name?

We are looking forward to helping you.

Yes all of images have alt text for images like maldives-mybudgettour.jpg
but these alt text appearing in search results

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

I have just checked the affected page you shared earlier and it seems like the product page is not indexed neither are there images related to it.

Could you please be more specific on what you mean by the images are showing the alt text on search results? Here is a screenshot of how the images from your site appear on SERPs image search: https://i.rankmath.com/fko5F4

If you do not mind please elaborate more on this using screenshots. You can use a tool like imgbb.com to perform this.

We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

I have just replicated the issue. However, this is not something Rank Math has control of as Google usually displays titles and descriptions based on the user’s intent. Even though you use the correct meta title and description they Google will still change it based on the keyword used by the searcher.

For instance, for your affected product that you had shared, on SERPs, it shows two different instances of titles based on how to insert the keyword on SERPs.

Here is an example of the screenshot of the keyword as the site URL: https://i.rankmath.com/CPfjwI
Here is an example of the screenshot with the keyword as Darjeeling Group Tour “: https://i.rankmath.com/EYu39q

As you notice the keyword changes the title and description and the second option brings the alt attribute.

I have checked your meta properties and they do seem to be set correct withi=out these attributes as shown here:https://i.rankmath.com/wwaZnE

Therefore this is not something that can be changed from the plugin. The best you can do is optimize your meta tags for that product page to try and match the intent of the search/keyword. Please check more about this here: https://moz.com/blog/search-intent-and-seo-a-quick-guide

We do hope this clarifies your query here. If you have any other questions for us, please let us know and we will gladly help.
    Thank you.

    hey
I have tried everything as above
    But nothing works
    Turn off image seo
but still image tags in search results

    Hello,

Google will adjust to the correct meta description with time. As you can see in the latest check I have done compared to the previous one, there is no presence of your image filename.

See the latest search test: https://i.rankmath.com/0fRzHx
    See previous search test: https://i.rankmath.com/EYu39q

This is all a waiting game and it will adjust with time as Google continues to discover content on your site.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
