I’m getting messages from Google about missing SMTP

#788354
  • I thought I had solved the problem, on DMARC, but that’s not the case. I keep getting emails about the DMARC not being fixed.

Is it possible that search engines remove my URLs from their rankings if I fail DMARC? The pages are indexed, but as you know, I have been saying for some time that URLs and images are removed for no reason.

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you are facing with DMARC and receiving messages from Google about missing SMTP. While DMARC issues may not directly impact your website’s search engine rankings, security issues like DMARC misconfigurations can lead to penalties from Google, affecting your website’s visibility in search results.

To address the DMARC-related emails you are receiving, it’s crucial to ensure that your DMARC settings are correctly configured. If you have already taken steps to fix the DMARC issue but are still receiving notifications, I recommend double-checking the configuration to ensure it is correctly set up.

If you suspect that URLs and images are being removed from search engine rankings for unknown reasons, it’s essential to investigate other potential causes that could impact your website’s visibility. Issues like security vulnerabilities, content duplication, or indexing problems can also lead to pages being removed from search results.

To rule out any other potential issues affecting your website’s visibility in search results, I recommend monitoring your site’s indexation status using tools like Google Search Console or Rank Math’s Index Status report. These tools can help identify any errors or issues that may be impacting your website’s presence in search results.

If you continue to experience difficulties or have further questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team for assistance. We are available 24×7 and are here to help you with any concerns you may have.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your attention to resolving these issues promptly.

    Hello,

We recommend getting in touch with your web host to set your SMTP and DMARC as they are in a better position to help you with your DNS records.

Also, your Google Search Console coverage section determines any issues reported on your URLs that may have prevented your site from being indexed:
