    I have been trying to update this plugin and every time I try I’m getting this code. Not ONLY this but EVERY single link in posts and pages both aren’t showing the default color code nor the hover code and this has happened every time I try to update and for some reason, it’s shoe rank math as part of the URL in all hyperlinks when you use the inspector tool? I really need this to get fixed ASAP, please.
    SiteGround is telling me I should just delete the plugin altogether but I have enjoyed it up to this point and I really do NOT want to go back to Yoast and input titles and tags etc…

    Hello,

    Sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It seems like new tables are not getting created in the Database or some old plugin has left an incorrect entry.

    1. Please follow these steps to fix the issue:

    2. Please follow only the first 2 steps and clear your caches. The following steps mentioned in the article are for advanced users.

    Please clear all the cache, including the server after following the above process.

    Hello,

    I have checked and it was not caused by Rank Math (the Rank Math text you see in your links is just added to be able to apply on those links our settings like “set external links as no-follow” and so on, but they don’t affect your colors).

    It was caused due to Font Awesome 5 overriding some of your CSS code, it is adding the following code at the beginning of your page:

    body, ::placeholder, input, select, textarea, .entry-title a, .genesis-nav-menu a, .site-title a, .site-title a:focus, .site-title a:hover, .site-footer a, .entry-content a, .entry-meta a, .comment-respond a, .entry-comments a, .entry-pings a, .footer-widgets a, .author-box a, .breadcrumb a, .more-from-category a, .entry-content a:hover, .entry-meta a:focus, .entry-meta a:hover, .comment-respond a:focus, .comment-respond a:hover, .entry-comments a:focus, .entry-comments a:hover, .entry-pings a:focus, .entry-pings a:hover, .footer-widgets a:hover, .author-box a:focus, .author-box a:hover, .breadcrumb a:focus, .breadcrumb a:hover, .more-from-category a:focus, .more-from-category a:hover, .site-footer p a {

    Which causes all your links to be that dark color.

    Since I don’t disable your plugins to fix it because it is a live site, I added another CSS code to your site to force the color you previously set:

    I removed but saved the CSS code you added in the extra CSS space because that is not what I want. Yes, I want links to be that color in posts and pages to be able to tell it’s a clickable link but NOT on the Homepage because it’s too difficult to read. Is there a code that can be placed to do this? Also in the inspector tool when you click on a link where it shows RankMath as part of the URL will this show when someone clicks on the link itself and/or if they share it? I appreciate your help.

    Hello,

    Please get in touch with the support of the theme you are using as they will be in a better position to help you with the styling changes you seek.

    For the link class, it does not matter as that class is needed for the Rank Math plugin to ouput some values dynamically, say the sponsored tag, etc.

    That has no effect on the SEO or the tyling of your website.

    You can test by disabling the Rank Math plugin and still seeing the same styling issue.
