I can’t find any translated product page in French in the site map

    Hi,

    I use WPML. Default language is Dutch. In the product sitemap I can’t see any product page in French. These product pages are translated in the last two months; so these are fairly new. I’ve checked all product seo settings in the advanced settings on a product page. All are marked as “index”, so I would expect these French product pages in the sitemap. Also only one French product category page is found in the product category sitemap.

    The English and German product pages are visible. These were translated last year.
    Also the page sitemap shows all French pages.

    The wpml seo settings are not changed. So alternated language versions.

    What am I missing here?

    Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    On the server side I use varnish. Is there anything I have to do here? Like adding excludes in the Direct Admin area in the varnish section?

    Hello,

    Yes, you should exclude the sitemaps from being cached there as well.

    You can get in touch with your web host/varnish support and simply exclude all the URLs that contain the word “sitemap” to exclude all the sitemaps automatically.

    That should work for excluding your sitemap from your hosting server cache.

    However, you should get in touch with your web host to ensure that your sitemaps are excluded from your server cache completely.
