I cannot write the Focus-Keyword

    Hello together,

    cause I couldn’t find a solution in the support-forum, I write directly to you. I’m using Rank Math Seo in nearby all my client-wordpress-installations. Only in one of them – https.//kinderhilfe-litauen.de I have the problem, that I cannot write the Focus-Keyword in. Rank Math chooses examples for the keyword and doesn’t allow to write another one. All my installation are in German language and uses DIVI as theme.

    What did I do till now ? First I checked sitehealth, deactivated Plugins and DIVI but the problem stayed. Than I installed Rank Math new – still the problem.

    Over that there is a problem in all my installations with German language’s ü, ä, ö, ß. Rank Math doesn’t recognize for example ae in the URL as ä in the title …

    What can I do ? Thanx a lot for your help

    I just remembered another problem with Rank Math and DIVI. Links set in Buttons aren’t recognized as links.

    Just now I remarked the same problem with the Focus Keyword in another clients account. Could this be caused by updates ?

    I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve tried adding keywords to one of your pages and I’m unable to replicate the issue. Please see the video screencast in the Sensitive Data section. If it still persists, could you also provide the URL or page that you are referring to?

    The video doesn’t open in my systems. Sorry. I’m also not able to download it.
    Surely I can write letters in the space of the focus keyword. But the letters don’t make really sense. If I want to write “Weihnachten” Rank Math stop after “Wei”. The words, that I could choose in the selection aren’t without sense concernig to what I need.
    This problem in between shows up with several client accounts.

    I have to correct: The words, that I could choose in the selection are without sense concernig to what I need.

    For better showing, what I meen:
    1. Go to Post “Weihnachtsgrüße nach Litauen Station 1 bis …”
    2. Scroll to “Fokus-Keyword”
    3. Try to write “Weihnachtsgrüße nach Litauen”

    You will see, that it stops after “Wei” and a selection appears with “weighted blanked”, “weight watchers”, “weird”, …. and you are unable to write the next letter of “Weihnachten”

    At the moment I worked around this by copy pasting the keyword on your post.

    For us to troubleshot this further, please elevate the access so we can access the plugins and theme sections. Also include your FTP logins so we may be able to revert changes made if they seem to break your site.

    Thank you very much. I’m mostly not able to paste in the Focus-Keyword-Area, when copied the Keyword.
    I thought, this could be a browserproblem, but this is the same in every browser I use – Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Edge.
    But loadingtime of this website is rather long. But if this would be the reason, you also would have this problems.

    My client doesn’t aggree in elevating the rights of the support-account or giving free the ftp. But I’ve checked all plugins. I’ve disabled them without effect.

    Hello,

    Without being able to replicate the issue on our end, it will a bit difficult to figure out the cause of this issue. There are plugins such as WP Activity that can be used to keep tracks of any changes made on the site, if this can change the perspective of sharing access.

    That said, how about your theme? Could you try switching to a default theme to check if it’s an issue with the theme on the site?

    It doesn_t chenge anything, if I switch the theme. I’m using DIVI. But I found a trick: if I write the nonsense in, and it is registered as Focus-Keyword, I’m able to click in an paste everything I’ve copied before in.

    Are you using the latest version of Rank Math Plugin? If not yet, please do update them and see if it helps to fix the issue. Try to do the plugin and theme troubleshooting once again after doing so.

    Also, the WP admin access is still very limited as we can’t replicate your issue. It would be great to give us full access to your plugins and theme pages so that we can further investigate this issue.

    I’m using the very newest version of every plugin, theme an wordpress.

    Sorry, but my client doesn’t want t give you more acceess. Perhaps this is a communication-error between DIVI and RankMath. There are some issues, but they aren’t so bad.
