Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Usually, if you have the Local SEO module enabled our plugin will automatically output the LocalBusiness Schema on your website from the settings under WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO.
You should select the business type there or the default LocalBusiness to get the Schema to output.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
So It is mandatory to turn on Schema (Structured Data)
Hello,
Yes, the Schema (Structured Data) module should be enabled to add the Schema.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
But after enabaling schema the type is showing article
Hello,
If the “Article” schema is showing on your static homepage, you probably set the default schema for your pages to the “Article” schema type. You can check that by heading over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Post Types: Pages.
If you wish to remove it from the homepage, you can set the default schema type to “None” but this will also apply to other regular pages so if you don’t want that, you can instead remove the inserted Article schema from your homepage’s editor:
Classic Editor:
Gutenberg:
After doing so, you can then follow my colleague’s guide to applying the Local Business schema.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
