How to set an open graph image on the main archive pages

    I cannot find any info on how to set a open graph image on the main page of archives. I can only find how to set them on category pages.
    The problem is that if someone shares a link on social messaging apps, the default image is shown, while I wont to show a custom image.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    By main page do you your homepage? This can be edited by heading to Rank math > Titles & Meta > Homepage.

    For all other pages and posts, you should be able to edit them under the social tab of Rank math meta box for each of the individual pages.

    Not homepage, I am talking about the main archives page. E.g. Blog page.
    On that page I cannot see the button „edit post” so I don’t know how to assign it an open graph image.
    Hope I explained it good enough, or maybe I am missing something entirely? Feel free to ask me anything that would help you understand the issue

    The blog page can be found under WordPress dashboard > Pages. You can confirm the page being used as your blog page by checking under WordPress settings > Reading > Posts page. This is the page you should edit.

    I found what was the problem. Although it was the main archive page of a custom post type created by the plugin, it was actually a regular wordpress page.
    It turns out that archives for custom post types created by plugins usually are located in a regular page created by the plugin. The plugin then modifies the page so that it can host the archive.
    I was able to change Rank Math data for that archive by finding the regular page named „Courses”.
