How to remove %page% in snippet editor?

  • In all posts, existing or new, the %page% is placed in the title section of the snippet editor. Somehow this always gives a “page 2 of 4” result. How do I remove this setting?

  • Hi Rutger,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

That should only happen if you have paginated content and you are current on page number two of the total 4 pages on your website/page/post/archive.

Or, do you mean just the preview? The preview is just that – a preview. It won’t necessarily be shown like that in your live pages.

If that is not the case, please share the URL where you are seeing this.

Also, you can disable the %page% variable at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thanks for the answer
