How to redirect website.com/category(this)/tegory_name% ?

    Hello,

    I installed the module mainly because my website permalinks about my categories are:

    mywebsitename.com/category/my-category-name
    I want to become
    mywebsitename.com/my-category-name

    I want to redirect the /category/ from all my categories
    I saw that the module has this function, could you please tell me how? 🙂

    Your can enable this option by heading over to Rank Math > General Settings > Links > Strip Category Base and click on this option.

    Great, it worked perfect. I kinda missed that function.

    Could you please tell me how can I change the mywebsite.com/tag/%tagname% , i want to make it mywebsite.com/етикет/%tagname%
    I want to rename “tag” to “етикет”

    You can do that from WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

    If i do it from there, will I still get redirected?
    I mean i can change it from there, I know, but will they be redirected ?

    Hi Moneff,

    Sorry, the old posts will not get redirected by just changing the tag base.

    You create a new regex redirect though and set it up like this:
    null

    That will redirect these URLs:
    domain.com/tag/tag-name
    to
    domain.com/етикет/tag-name

    I believe there is a problem when I do the things done from the photo:

    It gives me this error:

    Invalid regex pattern: tag/(*)

    Please add at least one valid source URL.

    Not sure how you are adding but it is working fine for me:

    Do check the above screencast and make sure you are choosing the same option in the regex.
