  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

In order to achieve this redirection please add a new Regex redirection with the following parameters:

    Source URL: directory-listing/(.*)
    Destination URL: dogecoin-directory-listing/$1

Here’s a screenshot to help guide you along the way:

    Hi Miguel,

Thank you so much for your help. This almost worked perfectly, but it got me pointed in the right direction and I got it going.

I had to use the domain name in the Destination URL field for it to work: https://shopdoge.xyz/dogecoin-directory-listing/$1

Should it have been necessary to include the domain? Maybe I did something incorrectly …

It seems to be working now, though!

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply and we’re glad that you got that sorted.

Including the domain name is not necessary for redirections created using Rank Math. You can use relative URLs instead of absolute ones to achieve the desired redirection.

If using a relative URL in the destination field, Rank Math automatically converts it into an Absolute URL to avoid confusion.

However, if the destination URL is not from your domain, then you have to add the Absolute (complete) URL in the destination field.

Please refer to this tutorial guide for more details:

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
