How to Prevent the entire website being indexed

    Rank Math free

    Hi,
I am working on a new website that has a lot of content and I use Rank Math for the SEO Analysis. The site will get ready only after 3-4 months, but the URL is already live. How do I prevent Google from Indexing the website until I say so, BUT at the same time continue using Rank Math to do the SEO analysis?
Keeping all the posts in “Draft” is not an option, hence it needs to be published, but Google should not index the entire website.

I know that page by page, post by post we can do it. But is there any way using RankMath or otherwise, I can prevent a search engine from indexing the ENTIRE website content until I say so?

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

You can head over to WordPress DashBoard > Settings > Reading and check the option to discourage Search Engine s from indexing your site. This will add a noindex tag to your site which will prevent search engines from crawling your site any further.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
