How to fix “More than one Meta Description tag” error?

    Hello Team,

    We are getting “More than one Meta Description tag” error in Bing webmaster.

    I check page source (view-source) and noticed 2 plugins Rankmath and Goolge Site Kit are generating meta description.

    could you please help us fix this issue? What should I do?

    Could you temporarily deactivate Site Kit and check if the second meta description persists or goes away?

    Thanks for your reply.

    I checked the source of your homepage and indeed there are two meta description tags.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Please check the website’s source while following the above troubleshooting guide and see which plugin/theme is generating the additional Meta description tag.

    Once you find the plugin/theme causing the issue, you can disable its SEO features to fix the issue.
