How to do the SEO on a development environment

    Hi,

    We are planning to switch over to Rank Match from Yoast. Is there a way we can work in a development environment without the website being indexed. Yoast has the following option:

    “Option B: My site is under construction and should not be indexed”

    It would save a lot of time if we could do this.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Yes this is possible from the global meta options. Please navigate to Dashboard > Rank Math > Title & Meta > Global Meta > Robots Meta and set this to “noindex”.
    You can also discourage search engines from indexing the development site from the WordPress settings via Settings > Reading > Search Engine Visibility
