  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us. To change the site title in Google results, you need to ensure that your site name is correctly set in various locations that Google checks.

Based on the image you provided, it seems like you want to change the site name displayed in the search results. To do this, you should follow these steps:

    1. Add a Site Name to Your Homepage Title Tag:

      • Go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Settings and enter your site name in the Site Title field.
      • Scroll down and click Save Changes.
    2. Add a Site Name to Your Homepage Meta Title:

      • Create a meta title for your homepage that includes your site name.
      • You can set your homepage meta title manually or use Rank Math to guide you through the process.
    3. Add a Site Name to Your Open Graph Metadata:

      • Ensure your Open Graph metadata includes your site name.
      • If you have Rank Math, this metadata is automatically added to your homepage.

For detailed instructions on how to set these up, you can refer to our knowledge base article here.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with any of these steps, please feel free to let us know. We’re here to help!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

To edit your homepage’s meta title, head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Homepage.

Here’s a guide you can follow as well:

    Hope that helps.

Hello, I have done all the things in the above list and re-indexed the main page, but in the search results, the site address is listed instead of the site name.
I wanted to see if we can use the Google JavaScript code to introduce the site name to Google. If possible, how should I do this?

this is the google javascript code

    Hello,

That json structure is already applied to your website once you have modified the Local SEO settings.

Please note that Google uses a machine learning algorithm to generate the sitename for your pages based on other information it has collected about your website and your industry.

I would suggest to keep on mentioning the desired title on both the title of the page and the schema structure (which our plugin automatically adds after configuring the Local SEO settings in Rank Math > Titles & Meta).

Lastly, please go through the Google guidelines about the site name to help you increase the chances of displaying the desired site name on the SERP: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/site-names

And here’s our official guide for it: https://rankmath.com/kb/display-site-name-in-search-results/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.
