How to add dynamic meta descriptions to posts?

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to set dynamic meta descriptions within rank math – like for titles (where it automatically takes post title and uses it as meta title)

    I want to be able to do the same for meta descriptions – I want to use the first 150 characters of a post as the meta description. How can I achieve this?

    Hi Benjamin,

    Thanks for getting in touch with me.

    You can use %excerpt% as the meta description template in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts

    That will make Rank Math automatically generate the meta description from the first paragraph of your content.
