The addition of ALT texts to images is done dynamically, and the actual ALT texts of the images do not change. That means that if you change these settings and go inside the WordPress gallery, the images will still not have any ALT text. But if you check the ALT text on an actual post, you will find it, as Rank Math applies the ALT text at runtime.

Currently, we do not have plans for that as our scripts for the ALT text generation run very fast when compared to retrieving the data from the database (which happens when the ALT text is added to the media library).
However, if this changes in the future, we’ll ensure to notify you.
