How RankMath Lists website on Google search results?

    Hi Support,

My website is cheesta.com.au and if I search it in Persian keywords on Google “چیستا استرالیا” SERP shows up as expected however if I search it in English keyword “Cheesta Australia” the meta description under the site name on Google is not coming from the site, it’s showing a job listing description which should not be there.

I’m not sure how RankMath is working in this scenario.

    Any advise highly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Hanif

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Google will show the meta info depending on the users search intent and if the algorithm thinks that the job listing description will be more useful to the user, then this takes the place of the meta description that you have set for the page.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks Michael for the comment.. I’m just wondering if there is any way to promote something else for the SERP? the way it’s showing the meta description is not good for my site, sounds like that listing is the site owner. is there anything RankMath can assist?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

I am afraid that this is entirely up to search engines to control how this data is represented.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
