Hello! I just installed this and see its installed in WordPress in my site. How do I use this within wordpress? I followed all of the email sign ups but now this is asking me to download something else. How can I view this plugin on my posts and pages inside wordpress? I don’t see why this dashboard is outside of the system and how I can check SEO outside of my website?

Also, how can I edit meta data? In the preview window it just takes the first sentence and doesn’t let me change anything.

I would suggest watching our short tutorial on how to install and configure Rank Math to your website:

I’m assuming you cannot edit those since you’re using the default variable %excerpt% for your meta description in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts/Pages

If so, that variable will use the first 160 characters in your posts/pages’ content. If you wanted to edit it, you may need to edit directly those lines. Else, you may need to type your new meta description. You can also check this link for more information:

I’m not sure why my messages are not sending but I watched the video and I was never asked about installing DNS in your wizard. Is there something wrong with your setup wizard? I also was not told on setup that selecting basic means the meta area will be locked. That should be stated. Where can I go to get back to the wizard and select advanced instead of basic?

When I try to delete %excerpt% the system doesn’t allow me to delete it. Why is that? How can I update this? Its very odd that you can’t make updates once its installed.

Advanced mode can be enabled from the Rank Math dashboard top right corner

If you are not able to edit the meta data, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
