Hello,
I apologize for the confusion you are facing regarding using a static page for SEO. To optimize your site structure via Reading Settings, you can follow these steps:
-
Create a New Page: Recreate the page you previously deleted named “Games” if needed.
-
Set a Static Page for Posts:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Settings > Reading.
- Under the “Your homepage displays” section, select the option “A static page.”
- Choose the newly created “Games” page as the Homepage.
- Select another page or leave it blank for your Posts page.
By setting a static page for your homepage and posts, you can better optimize your site structure for SEO. If you need further assistance or have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need more guidance.

This idea came to me last night, but I don’t know if it’s feasible or good: I convert the Games Category into a page and in the menu I put the categories under the Games item.
Hello,
If you haven’t set the post page in the reading settings, WordPress will simply not generate a dynamic archive for your posts.
Having only games as the primary archive for all your games is perfectly fine for SEO and with your current static games page, you can still optimize that for SEO as we also provide SEO controls for taxonomy pages.
Looking forward to helping you.
