    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    About your questions:

    1. I have recorded a screencast showing you how to set categories to not index: https://i.rankmath.com/A1W6nY

    2. You only need to add to Google Search Console the sitemap_index.xml. If you want, share in the Sensitive Data section the sitemap URL and we will check if everything is fine.

    3. You should have both of them, but you must be sure that one of them redirects to the other or Google will think you have two different websites (causing duplicate content issues).

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

It is better to remove both and re-verify your website using the new domain property method. That way, you do not have to keep multiple variations of your website verified in Google Search Console.

Both versions of your website are fine. Check which one has been indexed more in google by running a search for your domain. If www version has more pages that get you traffic, stick to the www version.

Then, redirect the other version to that:

    or
    https://www.siteground.com/kb/how_to_redirect_nonwww_urls_to_www/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi Todd sir,

Thank you so much for your clarification. I have another one query – you have suggested me to keep only one Format — For EX:- https://domainname.com on search console. I have a query regarding that shall I also add the same format [https://domainname.com ] as it is on Google Analytics also. Please let me know sir.

Thank you! Please Reply me sir.

    Hello,

Yes, it would be the best. You should try to have everywhere the same format to avoid issues.
