Homepage SEO title and meta-description not showing

Hi, i use in my site (trembol.com) RankMath along with DIVI EXTRA.
I’ve configured RankMath Homepage SEO title and meta-description as per the attached screenshot: https://ibb.co/2c3PQjM
Then i deactivated in EXTRA all SEO parameters, so it doesn’t affect at all and i confirmed with their support team that is totally off.

If i go to the Homepage source code, the result shows that my RankMath configuration is not applying. You can see in this screenshot: https://ibb.co/f8Mp861https://ibb.co/f8Mp861

I followed all the steps suggested in this support ticket: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/homepage-title-homepage-meta-description-not-working/
RnakMath is working perfectly for all my posts, but for the Homepage, as it happened to the person of the other ticket, as i’m using DIVI EXTRA CATEGORY BUILDER, i don’t have any option to configure RankMath there.

As i said i followed the steps and activated the Health Check plugin. With it i only activated RankMath and the result is the same, without any other plugin, my homepage source code show exactly the same meta as i the previous screenshot.

At this point, i don’t know what else to try, that’s why i’m creating this support ticket, hoping you can help me.
    Thanks

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Dear Michael, i added access credentials a few days ago, if you could take a look i would appreciate.
    Thanks a lot!

thank you for the explanation sir Michael Davis

    Hello @Trembol,

Sorry for the late follow up.

I tried to access the wp-login URL but I keep getting 502 Bad Gateway. I also tried wp-admin but I got access denied. If you have a plugin blocking some ip addresses please disable it temporarily while we look into this.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Sorry, it might be my hosting company country blacklist. If you tell me which country you are accessing from I will white-list it.
    Regards.

    Hello,

You can whitelist Spain so I can log in and check it.

    Looking forward to help you.

Spain is whitelisted already. If you have further problems accessing, please give your IP, just in case.

Hi again, did you have the chance to access?
    Thanks

    Hello,

Can you please try adding the code we provided in the following support ticket: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/wrong-site-title-and-impossible-to-change-it/?view=all#post-9064

This fixed the issue for the user and it should also fix it on your site.

If it doesn’t work then please add your site’s FTP access details in the Sensitive Data Section so we can debug the issue by editing some plugin files.

    Thank you.

Thanks Pratik, according to Heymeta is working now, i’ll have to wait a few days to see if it’s also updated and working fine in Google.
    Kind regards.

    Hello,

We are glad that helped you.

Do note that Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

You have to optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

You can read more about it here

    https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35624?hl=en

This section sheds light on that:

Why the search result title might differ from the page's <title> tag

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

    Ok, thanks for your support.
