So my site (https://www.techvise.pk) is showing the following problems when using RankMath:

    1. Rel next link is listed as follow, noindex (i’ve checked my settings already)
    2. og:title is showing as ‘Page not found…’ which is crazy…. Single pages dont have this problem.

    <html amp lang="en-GB"> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <link rel="dns-prefetch" href="https://cdn.ampproject.org"> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width,initial-scale=1,minimum-scale=1,maximum-scale=1,user-scalable=no"> <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.techvise.pk/"> <link rel="next" href="https://www.techvise.pk/amp/page/2/" /><meta name="robots" content="follow,noindex"/> <meta property="og:locale" content="en_GB"> <meta property="og:type" content="website"> <meta property="og:title" content="Page Not Found | TechVise Pakistan">

I’m using AMPforWP plugin. The plugin is updated and i’ve cleared the AMP cache as well. Problem remains.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

You are probably seeing the noindex because that page is being detected as 404. 404 pages are always marked as noindex.

To diagnose this further, please disable Rank Math and see if that fixed the issue.

If it doesn’t, please switch to any other AMP plugin and see if that helps.

If none of this helps, please run a quick plugin conflict check:

    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Do share the results with us so we can help you further.

    <!doctype html> <html amp lang="en-GB"> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <link rel="dns-prefetch" href="https://cdn.ampproject.org"> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width,initial-scale=1,minimum-scale=1,maximum-scale=1,user-scalable=no"> <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.techvise.pk/"> <link rel="next" href="https://www.techvise.pk/amp/page/2/" /> <meta name="amp-google-client-id-api" content="googleanalytics"> <title>TechVise Pakistan | Technology Reviews, Features and Guides</title> <meta name="generator" content="AMP for WP 0.9.97.58" />

You’re right, disabling RankMath entirely helped a lot. Initially I disabled only the RankMath AMP integration but that didnt work. So i disabled the entire thing.

anyhow, is RankMath worth all this trouble? I’ve already had to add a sitemap plugin that changed my sitemap structure to work with Weglot translation and now this.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like the suggestions etc, and i find it easier than Yoast Premium (as well as faster) however, this is giving me more headaches as well with each new problem. Let me know how you’re looking to proceed.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

It is definitely worth all the trouble and we regret the inconvenience experienced so far. Would you mind cloning your site to a temporary staging environment and share some access so that we can dig deeper into the cause of this conflict?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the access.

This issue does not seem to replicate the dev site on the homepage and the single post pages:
    IMG

Please check this and let me know if you can reproduce the same results.

    Thank you.

UM are you looking at the AMP homepage? I don’t think so… Please take a look at that and view the source for it. The homepage url gets marked as 404 and is then categorically noindex. Google notified me of this error too and started marking the pages as errors.

The images of site and source code suggest you’re looking at the regular site and not the AMP version of it.

    Hi there,

    Apologies for the delay.

The issue does not appear to be related to Rank Math, I have tested the page on the AMP validator when the plugin is deactivated but I get an error that the page could not be loaded because it is blocked by robots meta.
Please delete the current robots.txt on the root of your site and check whether this will resolve the issue for you.

Let me know how this goes.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
