Help with schema and dates on meta data

Hi, I’ve added a ‘By Monique Skidmore’ box to all of my posts but there must be a way I can add the author (and make it a clickable link), as well as the ‘last updated’ date to the beginning of my posts?
I am worried that my lack of understanding about scheme and structured data (I’m assuming that schema are a form of structured data?) has led me to select “article” which perhaps means that the only type of author for an article is an organization rather than an individual? Is this why I can’t add the two types of meta data I’ve mentioned above to my posts? I think its’ very important with the latest HCU to have the right schema, structured data, and meta data displayed – would you please help me implement the right kind for my website and the meta data I need?
    thanks
    Monique

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

Apologies for the delay as we currently have a high volume of tickets here in our support forums.

We’ve checked a post on your site using Google’s Rich Results test tool, and the Author schema is already validated.

Also, the article meta data are added in your page’s source code since you’re using that schema:

The author link is already displayed on your posts, but if you wanted to add the last published date, then you may get in touch with your theme provider to help you displaying it on your site.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
