  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

If you’re receiving that error upon doing SEO Analysis, it could be that your web server is blocking access to our API.

Please make sure to whitelist the IP 134.90.148.114 and the user-agent RankMathChecker/2.0.0; https://rankmath.com.

If you are not sure, please ask your web hosting provider to do it for you.

Also, please check your website in https://httpstatus.io/ and it should return 200 Ok status to avoid any error.

Once done, you can run the SEO Analysis once again.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

I Cannot get wordpress to do anything for me. I have this message. They won’t place it in for me cause they said they have no access to their servers: Since you are using NGINX, add this code to your NGINX configuration file; if your Sitemap pages are not loading, you can ask your hosting support to add it. Click here to see the code.

    Hello,

As the message suggests, you need to add a certain code to your NGINX configuration file. In order to this, you must directly contact your hosting provider or your server admin to add this code for you.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello,

You would need to enter the code as shown here in our KB:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/#nginx-server-error

The code is added to Nginx, which is known to have issues with Rank math sitemap generation.

Is your site hosted with WordPress.com? The code is meant to be added by your hosting provider. Please check with your hosting if they can add it for you.

I hope this resolves your issue.

Yes, WordPress is hosting. I asked them to apply and would not.

    Hello,

    Thank you for following up.

Could you also confirm if the URL in the designated Sensitive Data section is the affected website? If so, it seems that it is still showing an error 404 page, which might be due to your maintenance plugin or landing page.

For the SEO Analysis to work, please make sure that your website shows 200 OK status code in this tool:
    https://httpstatus.io/

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
