The redirection on your website is happening because of the WordPress function that redirects the pages to their canonical version.
If you want to disable these redirections you can do so with the help of the following filter:
add_filter( 'redirect_canonical', '__return_false' );
After adding that, the redirection will no longer happen on those pages and they will load but the canonical points to another page, so those will never get indexed. Only the canonical versions will get indexed.
For example, the canonical of this page https://www.in2town.co.uk/lifestyle-news/itv-dancing-on-ice-viewers-spot-unfair-move-moments-after-hannah-spearritt-exit/ is the following:

what i need to do is to find why it is doing that and stop it as it has damaged my site. i have gone from 11,000 impressions to 2,000 impressions. i need to fix this problem. can you please advise why it is doing it to stop it.

Please get in touch with the support of your feed plugin and ask them to share how they figured out that the issue is coming from our plugin. Our plugin doesn’t change the categories or redirect the URLs. The issue must be related to something else. If it works fine after disabling our plugin, then please use a tool like https://loom.com/ to record a screencast of how the feed import works, when our plugin is disabled, and when it is enabled so we can check and assist you further.

so why is the url being redirected. your plugin is automatically redirecting the url. this is what i need to know.

Yet the URL https://www.in2town.co.uk/lifestyle-news/itv-dancing-on-ice-viewers-spot-unfair-move-moments-after-hannah-spearritt-exit/ was still redirecting to https://www.in2town.co.uk/manchester-news/itv-dancing-on-ice-viewers-spot-unfair-move-moments-after-hannah-spearritt-exit/.
This implies that the issue is not from Rank Math.

how can you say it is not rank math. wordpress does not automatically redirect urls from one url to another. it is happening on all the latest urls that are being brought into the site. i can understand if the plugin i was using is putting it in the wrong category which i am waiting for them to sort out but your plugin is automatically putting the url from what are being imported to a different url. this has damaged my ranking.

If the issue was related to our plugin, then the redirection will not happen when it is disabled. Since the issue persists even when Rank Math is disabled, the issue must be related to some other plugin or setting on your site.

if a feed brings in a url A, your plugin is automatcally changing the feed to url B
is that easy for you to understand. i need to find out how to stop that.
