    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Why do you think Rank Math plugin is the cause of this hacking? The file you referred to in the Sensitive Data Section is the Sitemap cache files. Rank Math creates and updates those files whenever a post is changed or a new post is created. So it is fine if the cache files are automatically being updated.

    Last week a vulnerability was detected in a popular File Manager plugin. You can read about it here: https://www.zdnet.com/google-amp/article/millions-of-wordpress-sites-are-being-probed-attacked-with-recent-plugin-bug/

    Please update this File Manager plugin if you are using it on your site. If that’s not the case, then please give us some more details of the issue.
