  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the H1 tags showing instead of the meta titles on your product pages. Thank you for raising this concern.

The behavior you’re experiencing, where Google displays H1 tags instead of the specified meta titles, can occur due to several reasons. Google may choose to display alternative text that it finds more relevant or useful, which can include H1 tags or other prominent text on the page.

In your case, since one product is showing the correct meta title while another is not, it could be related to how Google interprets the content on those specific pages. Factors such as the structure of the page, the content, and even the breadcrumbs can influence this.

Regarding the breadcrumbs showing as "uncategorized" for the patches product, this might affect how Google perceives the relevance of that page. Ensuring that your products are categorized correctly can help improve their visibility and relevance in search results.

If you need further assistance or a more detailed analysis of your specific situation, we recommend replying to this ticket. A human agent from the Rank Math Support team will be able to take over and provide you with tailored guidance based on your website’s configuration.

Thank you for your patience, and we’re here to help!

    Hello,

    1. Have you followed the steps we shared on the other ticket? We recommended that you modify the max-snippet for that page to 0 to see if that helps. If you’re not sure how to do that, here’s a video:

    2. When we checked Google Index again, we can see that it is showing the correct titles – can you confirm and let us know what title it is showing on your end?

    3. Please note that Google does reserve the right to use whatever text it prefers from your page unless you have restricted that right by setting the max-snippet option to 0.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We are looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello,

    Thank you.
