    Hi,

All my H1 tags are considered H2 tags while I am running the SEO analysis tool. I’ve run the inspection tool and it shows H1 tag. what is happening here?

    Please assist.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I submitted your URL to our external SEO Analyzer and it is indicating that you are using an H1 tag. Please see the screenshot I inserted in the Sensitive data section.

Please clear your SEO analysis data and re-run it. Head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click “Clear SEO Analysis” button. Refer to the screenshot below:
    clear SEO analysis

After that, go back to the SEO Analysis page, re-run the test and see if the issue goes away:
    run SEO analysis

Let me know how it goes, we are looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for getting back to me. Really appreciate it.

It’s true that it says that it contains an H1 title tag if you put in a post URL for example /tanda-hamil/

    but

It is not the case when it keeps telling me that I do not have a single H1 when you put in the homepage URL into your analyzer says https://mydomain.com/

    On the other hand,

I am also puzzled by the issues it raises here. (please see 15.2.2021 image) in which case I have no clue over it such as the missing Image ALT Attributes SEO analysis of the “alt” attribute for image tags. I’ve put in the image ALT keyword but it says none was found.

    Hello,

Your homepage indeed does not contain any H1 tag:
    [Moved to Sensitive Data section]

So, our plugin seems to be working correctly. Correct us if we are wrong though.

The alt text is missing from your logo image as well:
    [Moved to Sensitive Data section]

To fix that, you might need to edit your theme files or contact your theme provider for help.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

In that case, how do I change my theme safely without affecting any SEO it has with Rank Math?

Also, please see the 17.2.2021 image. How should I go about fixing “Pages found that are indexable but not listed in sitemap.xml”

    Hello,

    Thank you for following up.

I’ve already removed your site in the previous replies as requested.

Adding the missing H1 tag and alt text for your image would not affect the configuration you have already set in Rank Math. You can also ask your theme provider to only give a fix for the specific issue without affecting your SEO configuration.

If your pages/posts are still not appearing in your sitemap, you can check the common reasons below:

    1. The sitemap is being cached on your site locally or at the server-level. Please flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/xXXhDt
Then exclude your sitemap from being cached by following the steps in this link:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    2. The canonical is set manually in the Advanced Tab. Please make sure that you didn’t set the canonical URL in Rank Math, as its purpose is to let Google know that it is a duplicate page, and not to be indexed.

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
