    But while you are offering your help… 😉 What exactly does the function do? Is there a documentation available maybe? I couldn’t find one.

    Hello,

    It is usually useful in a case where a post has multiple categories assigned. In such a case, when viewing the post, only the primary term is displayed. Assigning the primary term for a post also helps determine how the terms will be displayed in the breadcrumbs.
