    Hello,

    I am using your theme along with the Rank Math SEO plugin. Recently, I enabled 404 error monitoring in Rank Math to track down some 404 issues on my site. However, I noticed that whenever the GT3 Themes Core plugin is activated, Rank Math is unable to properly detect/log 404 errors like it should.

    When I deactivate the GT3 Themes Core plugin, Rank Math starts detecting 404 errors without any problem. This seems to indicate there is some conflict between the two plugins.

    I was hoping you could look into this issue and see if there’s any way to make the GT3 Themes Core plugin compatible with the Rank Math 404 functionality. I would greatly appreciate if your team could fix this on your end so that I can continue using both plugins together.

    I have spoken to RankMath support who encouraged me to speak with you.

    Your theme may generate a 404 template, that’s why Rank Math is unable to detect your 404s.

    To confirm that, please update this Rank Math file via FTP – /plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/modules/404-monitor/class-monitor.php

    Then in line 53, change this:
    $this->action( $this->get_hook(), 'capture_404' );

    To this:
    $this->action('template_redirect', 'capture_404' );

    Once done, check again the 404 Monitor and see if it’s already logging them.

    Please note that you may need to modify the code above each time you update Rank Math to detect your 404s.

    If you’re unsure about editing the plugin files, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings.

    Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hello,

    Your FTP credentials were not working (you didn’t share your host and port). We tried to fix the issue by modifying the class-monitor.php file on your site using the WP File Manager plugin, but it didn’t work. It seems that the GT3 Themes Core plugin is handling error pages differently than WordPress, and that’s why Rank Math can’t detect 404 errors on your site.

    To solve this problem, you need to contact the GT3themes team again and ask them to check the compatibility of their plugin with Rank Math. You can share the Rank Math plugin files with them, specifically, the 404 module files that are located here: /seo-by-rank-math/includes/modules/404-monitor/. This will help them understand how Rank Math 404 Monitoring works and how their plugin can affect it.

    Hi there, this is what they said:
    The thing is that our theme does not affect this file class-monitor.php
    Rank Math team claims “it seems the custom error handling in the GT3 Themes Core plugin”. What custom error are they referring to?
    We are sorry but this information is not enough to investigate the issue.

    Hello,
