GSC 404 Error but URL not in sitemap

    Hi there,

    I’m getting a “Submitted URL not found (404)” error in my Search Console from my sitemap, however, the URL that it’s flagging isn’t in the sitemap. Is this a GSC issue or is the sitemap not generating properly? Thanks!

    It is just pointing you that the URL is not found (I checked it and it is not found). It is done to help you to fix it, for example by removing that URL or redirecting it to an available URL.
