Used Rank Math and google indexing api thousands of times over many years on hundreds of websites with no problems and then all of a sudden in the past week Googlebot just will not visit any of my sites despite getting a successful update message.

Is instant indexing broken or something? I have tried everything new account keys etc. but still no visits after days when googlebot normally visits within minutes

Please help as I am getting desperate. Thank you

  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with Googlebot not visiting your websites despite receiving successful update messages. It seems like you have been experiencing this problem for the past week, even after trying different approaches like using new account keys.

Based on the information provided, it appears that you are encountering difficulties with Googlebot visiting your sites promptly, even though you have used Rank Math and the Google Indexing API successfully in the past.

To address this issue, I recommend checking a few things:

    1. Ensure Your Website is Accessible to Googlebot: Double-check that there are no accidental blocks preventing Googlebot from crawling your site. You can use the robots.txt testing tool to verify if there are any directives blocking Googlebot access.

    2. Check for Noindex Attribute: Make sure that your posts, pages, or entire website are not set to “noindex,” as this can prevent search engines from indexing your content.

    3. Request Reindexing: If you have updated your site name or made significant changes, you can request Google to reindex your homepage through the Google Search Console.

If the issue persists after checking these points, I recommend reaching out to our dedicated support team by clicking here. Our team is available 24/7 and will assist you in resolving this matter promptly.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

    Thank you for your support.

I have now solved the problem

Google HATES certain tld domain names e.g. .fun .homes

It simply will NOT index them or crawl them. I guess they are associated with spamming or not jobs or media broadcasts which the indexing api is meant for.

First time I have ever seen this having used many domain names tlds over the years.

I will check these domain names again as all works okay 1 week later so possibly Google glitch on their side but 99% sure it is the domains used.

    Hello,

Sure, let us know how this goes.

Meanwhile, if you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime to assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
