Google shows wrong snippets

Hi, Google is showing all differents snippets from the ones I wrote, some of them are even linked to different pages.

You can check the results by taping on google “Celso Marrero”

From what I can understand it’s showing part of the copy that is present on the page that the snippet is referring to, instead of showing what I wrote in the Preview Snippet Editor.

Also, google is not showing the # on my title descriptions and doesn’t look very nice. Instead of having “#1 London Still Life Photographer” It shows “1 London Still Life Photographer”

And last it’s showing a snippet with the wrong link and description.

Please find below a link for the screenshot.

    Thanks for your help.

    Best regards
    Celso Marrero

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Everything looks fine and if Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

Here are some of the common reasons Google might not use the meta description you provided:
    – The meta description is not relevant or useful (ie, just a collection of keywords).
    – The exact same meta description is provided across a large number of pages.
    – The meta description doesn’t match what the user is searching for, but other content on the page does.

There is a whole article dedicated to this on SearchEngineJournal:
    https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-offers-suggestions-for-avoiding-meta-description-rewrites/359884/

And last it’s showing a snippet with the wrong link and description.

You have redirected your old URL to the new one. Please wait for some time google will remove the old URL.

Please let us know if that helps. We’re here to help.

    Thank you.

    Hi Ankit,

Thanks for getting back to me, and thanks for fixing the link!

One last thing, what about the hashtag missing in the google search? Anything you can do about it?

    Thanks
