Google Search Console says my site has been block by robots.txt, need help

  • No Matter how I try, the Google search console keeps saying my site has been blocked by robots.txt.
I am sure my server-side is ok, so I will need your help to check for me.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I have checked your pages and the robots meta has been set to index. Please clear your site cache and validate the affected pages on the search console once again.

Let us know how this goes. Thank you.

I’ve tried that on Google search console.
It still showed block by robots.txt

Can you validate from your side?

Everything’s okay in your robots.txt file:
    robots file

If you had that tag in your robots file but recently removed it – do give Google some time to recrawl your website and see the updated file.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
