  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with your homepage being excluded by the ‘noindex’ tag in Google Search Console. To fix this, you need to check if the ‘noindex’ tag was added intentionally or accidentally. Here are the steps to resolve this:

    1. Check Rank Math Metabox:

      • Open your homepage in the WordPress Editor.
      • Look for the Rank Math SEO icon and check if the Robots Meta is set to ‘No Index’. If it is, select the ‘Index’ checkbox and update the page.

    2. Check Rank Math’s Titles & Meta Settings:

      • Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta tab.
      • Ensure that the settings are as per your preference. If needed, change the Robots Meta tag to ‘Index’ for your homepage.

Set Noindex in Titles and Meta Settings

    3. Search Engine Visibility:

      • Go to Settings → Reading in your WordPress dashboard.
      • Ensure that the checkbox labeled Discourage search engines from indexing this site is unchecked.

      Leave Search engine visibility unchecked

By following these steps, you can resolve the issue of your homepage being excluded by the ‘noindex’ tag. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Closing spiel.

The homepage URLs listed for noindex are the http homepage URLS, not the https.

Why are the http URLs excluded by the noindex tag?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We checked your website and we can see all the versions of your website are getting redirected to the correct version.

We also checked the robots.txt and the page is not blocked from crawling.

In this case, please try to clear your website cache including any server-level cache, and revalidate the issues on your Google Search Console.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Thank you very much for validating our 4 URLs and our WordPress-generated robots.txt file.

I’ll clear the site’s cache, but I don’t have access to the hosting provider’s server. I will ask their tech support to clear the server’s cache.

Please leave this ticket open until successful resolution.
