  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are still facing issues with Google Search Console Couldn’t Fetching your sitemap after trying the steps mentioned in the article you shared. Since you have recently changed your domain from an old one to a new one and have already added the property to Google Search Console, added the sitemap_index.xml, checked the robots.txt file, and set up a 301 redirect from the old domain to the new one, there are a few more things we can try to resolve this issue.

    1. Ensure Correct Site URL: Double-check if you have added the correct variation of your site URL to Google Search Console. Your site has four possible URL variations: https://www.seroundtable.com/google-fetch-process-sitemap-file-31042.htmlhttps://www.seroundtable.com/google-fetch-process-sitemap-file-31042.html https://www.seroundtable.com/google-fetch-process-sitemap-file-31042.htmlhttps://www.seroundtable.com/google-fetch-process-sitemap-file-31042.html Make sure you have added the correct one.

    2. Flush the Cache: If your sitemap appears outdated, try flushing the sitemap cache. Increase the value of the Links Per Sitemap by one in Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings and save the changes. Then, go to Settings → Permalinks and save changes to apply the current settings.

    3. Exclude Sitemap From Caching: Ensure that your sitemap is not being cached. You can refer to this knowledgebase article on how to exclude sitemaps from caching.

If after trying these steps, you are still facing the issue, please let us know by replying to this ticket. Our support team will further investigate and assist you in resolving the problem.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

    Best regards
