Google Search Console – Breadcrumbs: missing name or item.name

    Hi there,

    since i’ve changed my SEO-Tool from Yoast to Rankmath, the Google Search Console notificated me that “missing a name or item.name property” on 47 elements on my Blog. The Problem even consists when the Plugin is deactivated.

    In addition, the number of visitors is almost non-existent after the migration.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The breadcrumbs on your site are loaded by the theme and not Rank Math as shown below:
    Breadcrumbs

    You will need to get in touch with your theme author so that their support team can help in fixing the schema errors. Alternatively, you can disable the theme breadcrumbs and switch to the use of Rank Math breadcrumbs.

    In regards to the other issue, could you please check for additional coverage errors on your search console dashboard?

    When it’s caused by the theme, it’s an great coincidence. I will contact the theme support.

    Visitor numbers seem to be recovering from day to day. Is this normal for changing an seo tool?

    Hi,

    it was caused by the incompatibilty of two other plugins: WP-Statistics and WP fastest Cache.

    It was a big coincidence that it occurred after Rank Math was activated.
