GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE – 1 error, 0 url discovered

    Hello, I just added the Rankmath extension to my WordPress site. I followed your YouTube video explanation “Ultimate Sitemap Guide for Beginners (Step by Step)” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GmgrxAQfMo&ab_channel=RankMathSEO).

    The installation of my sitemap worked, except for 2 product sitemaps.

    In my search console, for example for : /product-sitemap2.xml , I have 1 error, 0 url discovered.
    By clicking on this sitemap, the Google search console informs me that :”
    The sitemap can be read, but contains errors” and “Missing XML tag”.

    For the sitemap “/product-sitemap3.xml”, I have exactly the same problem.

    By checking, these sitemaps exist well and do not contain any problem, at first sight.

    Can you tell me how this problem can be solved, please ?

    Could you please share the affected sitemap URL so we can check?

    For initial troubleshooting please follow these steps:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Hello,

    I checked your sitemap which is loading and validating properly.

    Please exclude your sitemap from the cache by adding the following filter to your theme’s functions.php file:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_true');

    After that, remove all the sitemaps from your GSC account and submit only the primary sitemap.

    Once done, clear your website’s cache and wait for Google to recrawl it.

    Hi, I just checked my Google Search Console and finally my problem is solved. All my sitemap’s URL are in Google Search Console. Thank you for your help. I close the ticket.
