  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Please follow this guide on how to optimize your homepage:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/homepage-meta-title-and-description/

You can follow the following guide to reach 100:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/score-100-in-tests/

But please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.

Also, the homepage should usually be optimized for the brand terms rather than specific broad terms.

Hope that helps. If there’s anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We are here to assist.

Thanks Princess and apologies for the long delay in replying. I’m just working through the issues. Will get back to you if I need more assistance.
    Kirsty

    Hello,

Sure, no worries! Thank you so much for your update. Let us know how that goes and don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hi Jeremy

I’m still having trouble with the meta description. See this video. https://www.loom.com/share/50fca9dfa27446de99fd5ebef48e36e1?sid=0ec5073d-036e-4df0-b7b8-290eca929c14

I am also having other issues with the results from Google Search Console which I hope you can clarify. See video: https://www.loom.com/share/b26a245247c3450cb4619d8dee0d628f?sid=8032d559-e6bd-4b0d-8145-bebaf564e0ef
I’m not sure why the pages are opening in the WP dashboard. Is this an issue?
Should I be clicking instant indexing for each post or is it done automatically because I’ve set it up that way. See video.

    Hope you can help.

    Thanks.

    Kirsty

    Hello,

#1. Using the Rank Math Meta Tag analyzer tool: https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/ we can see that your meta description is present:

You can reset the data in your site’s SEO Analyzer to see if that works for you. Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > and click the Clear SEO Analysis and Remove Transients buttons to flush the SEO Analysis cache.

    Flush

Once done, clear your website and any server-level caching on your site before doing the SEO analysis again.

    >> For your other query, you are seeing the admin header because you are logged in to the site as an administrator. Visitors to the site will not see that header. You can confirm this by visiting that same URL in an incognito window.

    >> In addition to submitting your sitemap to the Google Search Console, Rank Math’s Instant Indexing allows you to submit your URLs to IndexNow-enabled search engines and helps you to index your website and its content. You can find more information about it and how to set up in this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-use-indexnow/

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Thank you.
