    dear team,

    I am trying to upload my website url in google search console. google didnt index my url. I have tried many times. kindly check and guide me in this regard

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It looks like you are serving a cached version of your sitemap to Google and your visitors.

    You must add all the sitemap file locations to the exclusion list in your Cache plugin so that the sitemaps are never cached. These are the files you must add to the exclusion list:
    sitemap_index.xml
    post-sitemap.xml
    page-sitemap.xml
    category-sitemap.xml
    product-sitemap.xml

    This is required since Sitemaps are already cached internally by Rank Math and we flush them everytime you post something new and with our cache – you won’t see the issue you are seeing in Google.

    Now I have added all these sitemaps in my robots.txt file. After addtion i am trying to submit sitemap to google for indexing but google is showing same error. Kindly check and guide me in this regard. I shall very thank ful to you.

    Hello John,

    It seems you may have misunderstood my colleague’s reply.

    His reply was to exclude all your sitemap URLs from caching. This is not done via robots.txt. Please edit your robots.txt and delete the edited content.

    To exclude your sitemaps fro being cached, you should check in your caching plugin settings for excluding option. You can share with us the caching plugin you are using so we can try and guide you on where to add the exclusion rules.

    If caching is not on your site, then it is likely your server has caching enabled. Please get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them to exclude all your sitemap URLs from being cached.

    Once done, you should purge/clear all cache then resave permalink and sitemap settings

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your promp reply. Rcently. used cache plugin. Yesterday I deleted it. Today my host provider clear all caches but stil google and bing showing eror on my urls other than sitemap_index.xml. can u guide me in this regard. Bing acept the sitemap but shows no sitemap url found.
