Google indexed my Index of /wp-includes/ and Index of /wp-content/uploads/

    Hi,
I did a ‘site:domain.com’ search and found out that my /wp-includes/ and wp-content/uploads/ folders are indexed by Google. How can I de-index this? Will this have negative impact on my site SEO or security? The wp-includes folders are indexed, but not accessible.

Did I misconfigure Rankmath and cause this?
    TIA

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

You don’t want to have your wp-includes indexed, more than for security, to avoid having your crawl budget spent in not important URLs.

But your robots are fine, they are set to no-index those pages so you just have to wait until Google deindex them.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
