Google couldn’t index the URL(sitemap)

Hello, I am currently submitting a Google search console sitemap and encounter a problem that cannot be indexed. The error message is【Question: Is indexing allowed?】【Reply: No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ HTTP header】.

But my submissions on Bing sitemap are all in normal state and it shows that the submission is completed very quickly.

And I check that the sitemap URLs automatically generated by RankMath can be linked normally, and the code does not contain the noindex command, and robot.txt also does not have the above command.

I ask for your help, thanks.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The sitemaps, by default, are set to noindex as you do not want them to get indexed and appear in the search results.

The sitemap should only be submitted in the sitemaps sections and not in the URL Inspection Tool.

Please submit the sitemaps in the sitemaps section by following this guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

Hello, I have followed the steps on the website to set the correct settings, but I still get the result that the Sitemap cannot be read. After waiting for a long time, I still cannot make Google read the sitemap normally.【Reply: No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ HTTP header】

Is there any other way to solve this problem please?
I checked the code on the homepage of my website and there are noindex commands (4 groups in total), all of them seem to be related to the Rank Math code, can you please help me to confirm whether it is related

    1【<li id=’wp-admin-bar-rank-math-no-index’ class=”mark-page-as”>As NoIndex
    2【<li id=’wp-admin-bar-rank-math-no-index’ class=”mark-page-as”>As NoIndex

    Hello,

As my colleague mentioned, all sitemaps have the noindex tag applied to them because they are not intended to be indexed on the search results, but instead submitted for Google Search Console and similar tools.

The URL inspection tool is for the actual URLs of your website you wanted to be indexed.

For the No Index in the page’s source code from your screencast, it is a pretty common mistake to open the page source and search for a noindex tag to see if the page is marked as noindex or not. In your case, you saw the mention of noindex and assumed that the page is set as noindex. The actual noindex tag is added like this:

    <meta robots="noindex">

But, the one you have shared refers to the No Index option that Rank Math offers in the admin menu bar

    Mark this page

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
