    Heya!

So in my Analytics tab I connected the search engine.
Below that I see the analytics topic. It shows me a red dot on the left and no options to pick from.
I didnt find any valuable answers because I think i made all needed steps to see something there.

Also I want to know if it is necessary to submit all my pages directly to index directly?
Or is it the case if I connect to the search console that google will index it through the connection itself?

And last question. Google Search Console says that I use a html sitemap which comes from RankMath. Is this a problem, if yes provide me with information please.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    1. Please note that you may need to choose the property https://domain.com/ and not the sc:domain.com upon connecting your site.

The URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.

In this case, please follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property
    https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#num-1-1-open-google-search-console

    Prefix

Then reconnect your site on your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics.

    2. To ensure that your posts and pages are set to index, you may need to submit your sitemaps to your Google Search Console which will be used to ping Google that you have updated your site:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/

    3. Yes, your sitemap shouldn’t be HTML as that means Google is unable to read the XML sitemap. Please share your sitemap URL so we can also check it. Meanwhile, you can follow the steps in this link to flush your sitemap cache:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/sitemap-404-error/

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

sure here is my sitemap url: https://www.dutech.at/sitemap

    Hello,

The URL you’ve shared is your HTML sitemap and looks like it is generated by Elementor. Can you please share a screenshot of the error/notice you’re getting from Google? You can use any image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com/upload to share the screenshot with us.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

The Error in Google only says that the submited Sitemap is HTML. Nothing more nothing less.

    Hello,

Please note that you’ll have to submit your XML sitemap on your Google Search Console, not your HTML sitemap. The URL of your XML sitemap is https://dutech.at/sitemap_index.xml

You can follow this guideline on how you can submit your sitemap on GSC properly: https://rankmath.com/kb/submit-sitemap-to-google/

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you that helped alot. I will use this Ticket to ask you about another problem I see.
In Google if you search for my site, there should be the homepage and then the pages below that homepage, I hope you know what I mean. For my Website there is no pages beside the homepage shown and I dont get it why. I also cant find anything about this problem, I hope you can help me with it.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hello,

Can you please confirm if you’re referring to the sitelinks? If so, please note that they are currently automated by Google, and there’s nothing we can do from our side to enable those on any website. Here’s the documentation from Google that you can follow to learn more about it: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/sitelinks

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
