My goal is to define Focus Keywords for the Homepage.
The content is maintained via the template.
Is there a way to use Math Rank to set Focus Keyword for the homepage at this level?
Or can I assign focus keywords via the ‘Titles and Meta’ Options and Settings?

I have replied to a similar question in your previous ticket.
At the moment, we don’t support this current type of editor as it is still in beta and we also don’t have this in our roadmap.
With that said, we will notify you when we do add support to this type of editor.

I suspected that I had made a mistake in reasoning or that an configuration was wrong/missing.
The editor would have to be the Gutenberg editor, so I thought the mistake was on my side.
Is there a workaround so that I can manually define the Focus Keywords for the homepage, e.g. directly in a config file or something similar?

The only GUI interface we have to add homepage focus keywords is with the Rank Math SEO metabox.
Focus keywords are stored in the WordPress database in the postmeta table under the metakey ‘rank_math_focus_keyword’. We would recommend using the WordPress update_post_meta function to modify keywords stored in the database.
