Focused keyword in Subheading and Internal Links in content

    Hi,

First of all great plugin. Kudos to you guys.

    My queries:

    1) “Focus Keyword not found in subheading(s) like H2, H3, H4, etc..” warning. Tooltip suggests to use the keyword as part of content.

Now, What exactly does it mean by the content? Does it mean description/short description text only or can the product title (which appears in H2 tag on woocommerce product page) can be treated as content?

    2) Again, it warns about Adding internal links in content. Our theme fetches related product using their own algo, but it does it on the front end part itself. We don’t have a say in it. For those obvious reasons, Rank Math can’t detect those links and adds a warning. Can those product links be considered Internal links or do we need to add something in content?

If it helps, we’re using Porto WordPress theme (Demo 17).

    Best Regards,
    Sahil

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The product content you should includes the content in your product short description or on the WordPress product editor. You can add your subheadings as Hx tags in either and it will be recognized by Rank math.

Rank math usually recognizes links added through the WordPress editor. Please note that these are just guidelines and they don’t need to be followed religiously.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

Thank you for your quick reply.

So you are basically saying that product title and internal links are different from subheading in the content (short/description) and related products (which are being fetched by theme itself) and we should include in the content if possible ?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Yes. Rank math will check the links and any subheadings in your content. If your data is automatically generated by your theme, Rank math checks should not worry you since these are just guidelines not to be followed religiously.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
