Focus Keywords not working

Started testing this plugin in on several sites but on every site I have the same issue, Focus keywords don’t work.

Only the first one will highlight the keyword but every keyword added after that won’t highlight and stays in red and thus can’t reach a 100/100 score

    Hello Billy,

    Thanks for your query.

    We would love to help.

Can you please disable all other plugins and see if that fixes the issue? We suspect there is a plugin conflict somewhere. Please try and follow the instructions here and see if you find the conflicting plugin:

    https://community.mythemeshop.com/tutorials/article/52-confirming-a-plugin-conflict/

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Ok, did all that but still only the first focused KW highlights, every other stays red and won’t get highlighted.

Added a login for you to check.

Ps: You look like a young Heisenberg 😀

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the response.

It looks like you are using Elementor to manage your page content. Unfortunately our content analysis tool is only able to analyse HTML content on a page and this why the keywords in your main content are not being detected.
Our developers are working on an API that will make it possible for Rank Math to detect content within this kind of page builders, this feature will be available sometime soon.

I hope this info helps. Thanks.

Aha, so for now sites that uses elementor is not beneficial when using rankmath? Because You guys have listed elementor as a compatible plugin.

    Hi there,

    Apologies for not being clear.

Most of the features in Rank Math work great in Elementor, only a few tests are not able to run successfully. For example, one of the keywords that you have entered is on an external link. Our plugin is not able to pick the alt text or external links that you add via the modules in Elementor.

You can expect to see an update to address this in the coming days.

I hope this info helps. Thank you.

Ok ok, I’ll keep it running then.

Also, rankmath doesn’t see where shortlinks are going. I got several external links that are shortlinked for tracking purposes but rankmath will say that there are no external links.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the response.

This is related to the content analysis limitation I mentioned above.

A fix for this will be available soon.

    Thanks you.
