You have to press the enter keyword you are done typing a focus keyword.
Here’s how it should work:
Add a Focus Keyword in the Classic Editor: https://i.rankmath.com/PMGTIW
Add a Focus Keyword in Gutenberg: https://i.rankmath.com/vcTxyk

The focus keyword is not working after the update. Focus keyword not popping up. Even after today update.

I cannot reproduce this problem on my end.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Please let us know if you find the culprit.
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
