    Turns out a gzip error of some kind some where. I turned off GZIP browser compression in w3 total cache (I could have sworn I had tested with W3 disabled. So sorry… not your issue.)

    For others who may read this, the issue was a CURL 61 BAD ENCODING error in the Facebook debugger saying the tags were not there.
