But when I disabled jet pack I can see that the featured images show on my website when I click on the posts. The featured image shows at the header of posts but isn’t showing on Facebook yet

This is the og:image set but it won’t open.
Please check with your web hosting and see if there is hotlink protection enabled on your website.
@Todd Let me check within my cpanel . I think I saw an option for hot link protection. I’ll disable it and check whether the problem is solved
@Todd the image now opens. Let me check whether the featured image shows when I share the link
Fb debugger now shows the image. Should we say that it was the hot link protection? Can I now reactivate jet pack? Unless there is another plugin that can help share post immediately to social media like jet pack

Yes you can now reactivate Jetpack and check if any issues will come up. I can also recommend that you disable the image optimization feature in Jetpack since it has been known to cause issues.
Rahul, could you please upload a bigger image on the affected page and let us know if the issue is still reported?
Recommended image size is 1200 x 630 pixels.

WhatsApp has size restrictions. If your image is too large, WhatsApp might not pick them. Otherwise, the same data is used by WhatsApp as it is by Facebook.
Rahul, if gzip is enabled on your website using a cache plugin – you might want to disable that and test again here:
