Featured Image not changeable on latest version

    Currently using RankMath 1.0.73

    Since I updated the plugin, I cannot update the Featured Image on any of my WP blog posts.

    When I try to update and then save the update, the old Featured Image comes back again. I’ve purged the cache, too.

    As soon as I disable RankMath, I can update the image, then I have to re-enable RankMath again.

    Obviously this is quite tiresome!

    Thought you should know about the bug.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    As you have cleared your website’s cache, few more things have to do to fix this. Please go to Rank Math > Status & Tools, click on the Database Tools and do the following steps:

    Clear SEO Analysis.
    Remove Transients
    Clear Cache
    Rebuild Index.

    Also, do a hard refresh on your browser to clear any cached JS and data.

    Hope this will fix the issue.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    If the issue persists, please record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the troubleshooting and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
